The Rounding Hammer is forged from the same proven billet and weight as our Cross-Peen Hammer, making it the perfect tool for drawing out stock, blending hammer marks, and leaving cleaner, smoother surfaces with every blow.
The rounded face moves steel efficiently while delivering a more gradual, directional strike than a flat-faced hammer. After roughing material with a cross-peen, switch to the rounding hammer to smooth, refine, and keep your work moving.
At roughly 2.75 lbs, it’s Ryan’s preferred all-day forging weight. Heavy enough to move material with authority, balanced enough to swing all day.
Every hammer is forged in Ryan's Michigan workshop using HouseMade forges and belt grinders. Every step happens under one roof with the same obsession for quality we have at our PA workshop.
