For a DIY date night or a handmade gift they'll love

We're flipping the script and pressing both scoop plates out now. You enjoy all the fun stuff with NO equipment needed other than a ball peen hammer.

We just made this project way easier... and way more fun.

Instead of leaving you with a flat scoop plate and a learning curve, we’re now pre-pressing the second copper scoop plate for you as well. That means you can jump straight into the good stuff: hammering, texturizing, styling, and assembly.

No hydraulic press. No fancy tooling. Just a ball peen hammer and a good playlist.

Hammered copper, made by hand, and actually useful every single day. That’s a win.

Brian walks you through the whole thing step-by-step in the project video, so whether this is your first DIY kit or your fiftieth, you’re covered.

WHAT'S IN THE BOX:

  • (1) .125" thick copper scoop plate - pressed for you
  • (1) .08" medium-thickness copper scoop plate - pressed for you
  • (2) Stainless steel scoop handles
  • (4) Copper rivets
  • 2" Ball Die
  • Swage Block
Made in the USA, with US-sourced steel.

Our swage blocks are all forge-pressed by Brian, Dave, and whoever happens to be visiting our Southwest Florida shop. Every block is hot-stamped with the HM signature skull.

The swages will vary slightly - they are individually handcrafted by us, so no two are 100% alike. Each 3.5" to 3.75" square swage block is made from A36 mild steel and weighs about 3.75lbs.

Each 2" Ball Die is fabricated here using a 2" AISI 52100 chrome steel ball bearing and a 3.6" round of .25" A36 mild steel.

No heat required.

A $5 Harbor Freight hammer is all we used to prove you don't need a shop full of fancy tooling to make our DIY scoops.
