26" Radius Platen

Work on the curve of a 52-inch contact wheel without having an actual giant 52-inch wheel on your 2x72 grinder. 

This 26" radius platen will level-up your hollow grind and s-grind game...by a LOT. There's no way you can rig up a wheel this big in your shop but the curved platen will get you there.

Made from Hardox®400, a versatile wear-resistant and abrasion-resistant steel with a nominal hardness of 400 HBW.

Most curved platens are solid steel or aluminum -- this 2-inch wide radius platen is hollow in order to dissipate the buildup of heat as you work. In conjunction with our Misting System, you have a powerful combination to add unique facets to your work.

Can I use this with a True-Tilt Bevel Grind Table? Absolutely!
With your True-Tilt tooling arm in the lower receiver tube, everything will line right up. Scroll through the product photos on this page and you'll see it set up both ways on our workshop Revolution.

Will this fit up to other grinders besides the Revolution? Yes, with some modifications. This platen is 11" x 2" and has a bolt layout specifically fit to the Revolution grinder. If you have an 11" x 2" platen, you will likely need to customize where the bolt holes are located.
