Our swage blocks are all forge-pressed by Brian, Dave, and whoever happens to be visiting our Southwest Florida shop. Every block is hot-stamped with the HM signature skull.
The swages will vary slightly - they are individually handcrafted by us, so no two are 100% alike. Each 3.75" to 4" square swage block is made from A36 mild steel and weighs about 5 lbs.
Each 2" Ball Die is fabricated here using a 2" AISI 52100 chrome steel ball bearing and a 3.6" round of .25" A36 mild steel, then heat-treated.

Copper is nice and soft, so you can get a beautiful textured finish without any extra equipment.
You can use any hammer, but our handmade ball peen hammer will get you there in style.
