Our new gauntlet-style Heat-Shield Forging Gloves are designed for blacksmiths, bladesmiths, and metalworkers who need serious heat protection without sacrificing dexterity. Made from supple, durable goat skin, our gloves feature a 2oz. workable black leather for the palm side - great for flexibility; and a thicker 4oz. foil-pressed upper that reflects radiant heat, keeping the tops of your hands cooler as you reach into your forge.

Inside, a soft denim liner adds comfort without bulk, while the extended cuff protects your forearm during high-heat work. Whether you're grabbing billets, adjusting stock in your forge, or working at the anvil, these gloves strike the balance between protection, comfort, and feel.
